Dear Reader,
It’s a big day. Among other things, today is:
- The end of the Mayan calendar (unless it’s not; I have heard arguments for other days.)
- The end of the whole world – so far, no.
- A transformation to a higher level of consciousness – it’s possible; I’m all for the idea!
- the Winter Solstice – yes, and I love it! I have been running a countdown calendar to this day and “more light!”
- In numerology, the universal number for today is 11, a master number – the number of the Visionary.
- For many, the last working day before Christmas.
- Two days after my step-daughter’s eighteenth birthday – amazing how the time has flown!
- the 21st day of Advent.
- Friday.
- a day the boats to Shetland have been cancelled. The shelves in the grocery stores are looking very bare.
- one week removed from the horrific killings in Newtown, Connecticut. I am still not the same from hearing the news.
Every day, dear reader – that period of light and dark created by the spinning, revolving bodies in our solar system – is unique. We have designated it a distinct unit, which we keep track of faithfully, or sometimes with no faith at all. After all, it’s amazing how often we take our days for granted, isn’t it?
Every day, new life comes into this world, and other life leaves. We experience a range of emotions, make a series of choices, and perform a variety of actions.
Every day.
Does it not make sense to choose well?
I honor your loving heart,
John
