Dear Reader,
After my last post, I am thinking about gratitude. Spiritual teachers often say that gratitude can be one of the most powerful forms of prayer, and I agree. I would only add that sometimes, pure, deeply-felt appreciation – the kind you feel when you watch a sunrise, or take in the innocence of a small child – is gratitude. Sometimes, there is no need to say “thank you;” you have already done it simply by being truly, deeply present.
I honor your loving heart,
John
