Dear Reader,
Last month marked the two-year anniversary of “Intuitive Cartography,” my blog about intuition, the inner life, and how to live fully in the world. Looking back at my two years of blogging, a familiar question arose: “Why am I doing this?!”
I revisited my first post, wondering what I might find…
I am struck by how much I was feeling my way when I first started. Although my views about intuition and what I referred to as “the wisdom and depth of a heart that recognizes truth” were clear, I had no idea where I was going with my writing.
Now, I have a better idea.
My writing is inspired by two questions: “What mysteries await us on the inner journey?” and “How can our discoveries on that journey be applied to our lives in tangible ways, that allow us to be more fully who we are and be of service to ourselves and others?”
Indeed, I have asked a lot of questions in my posts (I have probably provided many more questions than answers!) as I have continued living a life guided by intuition and the wisdom of my own heart. This process is far from perfect for me, and I have a lot of growth ahead. Very exciting!
Human beings are changing, evolving – yet we have only scratched the surface of what we understand about ourselves. And isn’t it time to find out more? We only need to look around to see that our evolution can be a messy business, so it’s time for us to take responsibility for it. Seriously.
To that end… I will be expanding my posting to twice weekly. Now that I have my Year of Excellence posts running smoothly on Mondays, I will add a second post later in the week, focusing more in depth about intuition and consciousness.
Dear reader, if you have thoughts, comments or questions about intuition, I would love to hear them! I will respond either with a comment, or a post about the topic in question.
In the meantime, I have a question for you – are you living an intuitive life???
I honor your loving heart,
John
