Dear Reader,
Have you ever done something that felt so right, you knew it was meant to be? Moments like those represent the alignment of you taking your rightful place in the universe, dropping into a deep sense of flow and saying “yes.”
To me, that is what can happen when you follow your spirit.
The whole process of finding my soulmate, Louise, felt like that – after a long period of relationships filled with doubt, struggle and ultimately, failure. If you want to know more about that soulmate-finding process, I have written about it elsewhere on the blog. Or, Louise has written a book about the process from her perspective, “Where is my Soul-Mate? A Guide to Manifesting Your True Love”
In a nutshell, that process involved three steps on my part:
- I opened in every way possible to the process of finding my soulmate.
- I learned to pay attention to every bit of guidance I got about finding my soulmate.
- I acted on my guidance, consistently and immediately.
The bottom line? I followed my spirit.
In fact, through all of the twists and turns in my life (and there have been many), most of the amazing things I have experienced have come from following my spirit. No matter how many mistakes I have made (many!) and no matter how lost I have felt at times (often!) – I have always returned to the simple act of following my spirit.
Now, Louise and I have taken another one of those steps together. We have created a new company and named it: Follow Your Spirit, LLC.
We have always known somewhere deep inside that, as my guides put it:
“Together, you are more than you are apart.”
It has taken us nearly ten years to arrive at this point. At times, we have each been working on different things. At times, even while loving each other a little more every day, we have still forgotten to follow our spirits.
You might ask, “Why isn’t it easy to follow your spirit?”
The short answer? It is easy, once you are willing to take the chance, laugh off failures when they occur, and see that ultimately, the process really does work. Obviously, there is more to it than that, but willingness to take the first step is a great place to start.
Louise and I don’t know where this new business will lead, or what it will look like. But we do know that good things happen when you follow your spirit, and we also know that you, dear reader, can follow your spirit too.
Are you willing?
If you are, we are here to help and support you, every step of the way.
I honor your loving heart,
John
