Dear Reader,
How do you define inner peace? To me, it means the ability to be centered, comfortable and connected with your own self no matter what is going on around you. It doesn’t mean that you never feel fear, frustration or anger – but even when you DO feel those emotions, there is always a deeper feeling that you are OK, that there is a bigger picture for you, and that you are on the right track no matter what.
I started feeling inner peace most consistently once I started developing my intuition. It helped me connect to my deepest sense of self, grounded me in the present rather than getting distracted by the past or future, and helped me integrate ALL aspects of my being – body, heart, mind and spirit. That sense of integration and deep connection gave me a feeling of inner peace that has helped me navigate the storms that show up in my life.
As you learn to trust your intuition and follow it, dear reader, inner peace will develop as a real, steady presence that wells up from within – you won’t even have to go looking for it!
I honor your loving heart,
John
