Dear Reader,
I don’t feature many quotes in my posts, but today the one above found its way to me twice within an hour. Intuitive guidance can be like that. The first time I saw it was this morning when I got an email from my wife’s website containing the daily quote for her Quotes That Help feature.
I liked the quote, as well as the beautiful photograph that Louise gave it as a background.
But within an hour, the quote popped up again! This time it arrived near the end of a book I have been reading about time management, “Getting Things Done; How to Achieve Stress-Free Productivity,” by David Allen. Great book, by the way, even for intuitive and artistic types.
Some people would call the two appearances a coincidence, and you are welcome to if you’d like.
I don’t.
That’s how intuition often works. You get the message until you get the message!
So I’m sharing this message with you. It does relate to some of my past posts about life purpose, and I am fascinated by the fact that it comes from the Buddha. Otherwise – I don’t know why it showed up!

This reminds me of something that happened just recently as I am going through another transition. I have been doing some serious soul searching that would require uprooting myself and maybe my partner. I have been asking for guidance. We were down in Southland, driving through ice and snow. We ended up on one of the winding roads. A truck ahead of us had a very large red bumper sticker on it. It read: Are you holding yourself back? I had to laugh as it was something I knew I was! And there for 90 snowy, icy, twisty turning minutes, sat following a bumpersticker that reminded me I was;-)!
