Dear Reader,
When you are feeling sluggish, stuck, down, or generally drained of vitality – what do you do?!
I hope you have favorite, sure-fire ways of quickly raising your vibe! Why? You know how easy it is to sink further into lethargy if you don’t do something about it – I believe the operative word is inertia.
But it can be just as easy to raise your vibe!
Just minutes ago, I was sitting on the couch sifting through topics for potential blog posts, when I could feel my life force draining from me into my laptop screen. Not good. I turned to Louise and said “Do you want to go for a walk?”
In two minutes we were out the door. We dumped our cans and bottles in the recycling bin and walked up our favorite lane. We peeked in at our favorite kitchen (that you can only see when the window shade is up), looked at our favorite back yard with the lawn chairs, the tree swing and cool rope ladder for climbing up into the tree…
Next we scanned the houses listed for sale in the window display at the real estate agency, before heading for home with dreamer minds activated and spirits lifted. Our walk took no more than twenty minutes, but we felt like different people when walked in the front door.
But we weren’t quite done.
Just to give our vibe a little extra boost, we stood in the middle of the living room facing each other and held each other’s arms. We imagined ourselves in our dream house and started jumping up and down with excitement! Immediately, we burst into hysterical, joyous laughter – it happens every time.
Now, as I finish this post for you – and it is a very different post than the one I first sat down to write – I am still tingling. I feel alive, happy and relaxed. I am ready to explore the world.
Much better!
Isn’t it thrilling to know that we have that much control over our energy that we can shift our entire feeling state at will? Dear reader, do you have a favorite way to “speed shift” your vibe? Leave a comment and share it with us if you’d like – I’m sure we would all benefit!
I honor your loving heart,
John

Hello John
Love this post, it shows how easy it is to raise our vibe, without any effort really.
I was thinking what raised my vibe, and as I am working with kids at present I have to say that Play definitely raises my vibe. I have been on the swings and seasaw more times this year since I have since childhood, and it is fun. This week I intend to go buy a kite. my grandaughter and I will have “great fun” (her phrase) with that. Oh and I cannot forget to say that music and dancing around the house like crazy works everytime, or on a real windy day, walking by the Sletts and getting sprayed with salt air, love it. I seem to have many now you bring it to my attention.
My vibe is raised even thinking about it.
Love P.
John
Hi Pamela – I love kites, and I love your comment! Many good points… You came up with several great ways to raise your vibe, as you say – without any effort really. It can be that easy. And it is so often true that once we start looking, we discover that we already have many ways. Then it becomes a matter of remembering to use them! The final part of your comment also reminds us that sometimes, all we need to do is think about or write about raising our vibe for it to work!
Thanks for sharing with us,
John
