Dear Reader,
Those of you who followed my blog and “Year of Excellence” theme last year may remember that I talked about the inspirational power of picking a one word theme for the year. Not only does it inspire you, the focus on one meaningful word also activates your creativity and engages your intuition. It short circuits your intellect (a must for accessing intuition) and helps you approach life with a sense of play.
Play…
Hmmmm…
That’s a good one word theme for the year for somebody. My word for last year was “initiative,” and for 2012 it’s:
Visibility!
Hence the new Twitter account I opened over the weekend… For those of you on Twitter, come find me!
How about you dear reader, what is your one word theme for 2012? Let your intuition speak, and tell you what will guide you where you need to go this year – let it fly! Don’t forget to email or leave a comment and let me know what your word is.
May it surprise, delight and mystify you!
I honor your loving heart,
John

My word theme for 2012 is Adventure!
I want to spend a whole lot of time outdoors, being active, and exploring nature.
John
Great theme Louise – I will definitely support you in that!

My word theme for 2012 is going to be Trust!
That is to trust myself and to also trust that I am being guided by God.
John
Hi Pamela – I love that theme for you! And I wonder… do trust and faith have the same meaning for you?
All My Best,
John

Thank you John, in answer to your question, yes they do have the same meaning for me.
I am coming to the end of studying A course in Miracles, yet I do not see it as an end, this will be my bible for life. It is teaching me so much, I love it.
All the best
Pamela.
John
Thanks Pamela, and congratulations on having a powerful experience with A Course in Miracles!
June
Hmmmmm. Lots of words came to mind but weren’t quite right. So I sat for a bit looking out the window at the clouds as a single gull went soaring round. Soaring…no, not quite that either. Then the word movement came and I think that’s the one. Then I thought that I’ll have to think about how to make it actionable and laughed at myself since the thinking part is what I do more than the action part. There must be movement to create movement, not so much thinking involved. There’s the challenge!
John
Great word! And I happen to know that you are an excellent mover, June. You are so right; less thinking, more movement – maybe a dancing meditation in your living room? Or at least a walking meditation. I do think that actually movement can also come from stillness. It might be a fun exploration – find stillness, and wait until a compelling movement takes over. At any rate, the important thing is to explore what movement means for you. Keep us posted on what you discover!
